1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing and using Loopins ("Platform", "Service", "we", "us", or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our Platform.

Loopins is a marketplace platform that connects users seeking expert consultation with verified industry professionals. Our Platform facilitates bookings, payments, and virtual consultations.

2. User Accounts

Account Types: Loopins offers two types of accounts: User accounts (for clients seeking consultations) and Expert accounts (for professionals offering consultations).

Account Requirements: You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to update such information to keep it accurate, current, and complete.

Account Security: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

3. Expert Services

Expert Verification: All experts undergo a verification process before being approved to offer services on the Platform. However, Loopins does not guarantee the quality, accuracy, or suitability of expert advice.

Revenue Share: Experts receive 80% of the session fee, while Loopins retains 20% as a platform service fee. This split covers platform maintenance, payment processing, customer support, and technology infrastructure.

Expert Responsibilities: Experts are responsible for setting their own pricing, availability, and session content. Experts must provide consultations professionally and ethically.

4. Bookings and Payments

Booking Process: Users can book consultations through the Platform. Some experts offer free introductory sessions, while others require payment.

Payment Terms: All payments are processed through our secure payment partner, Paystack. Payment is required at the time of booking for paid sessions.

Cancellation Policy: Users may cancel bookings according to the expert's cancellation policy. Refunds may be issued at the expert's discretion or as required by applicable law.

No-Show Policy: If either party fails to attend a scheduled session without prior notice, the session will be considered complete, and payment will be processed.

5. User Conduct

Users agree not to:

• Violate any laws or regulations
• Infringe on intellectual property rights
• Harass, abuse, or harm other users or experts
• Share inappropriate, offensive, or illegal content
• Attempt to circumvent platform fees by conducting transactions outside the Platform
• Use the Platform for unauthorized commercial purposes
• Interfere with or disrupt the Platform's functionality

6. Intellectual Property

The Platform, including all content, features, and functionality, is owned by Loopins and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

Users retain ownership of content they create and share on the Platform but grant Loopins a license to use, display, and distribute such content as necessary to operate the Platform.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE PLATFORM IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. LOOPINS DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE PLATFORM WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE.

Loopins is a marketplace platform and does not provide professional advice. All consultations are provided by independent experts, and Loopins makes no warranties regarding the quality, accuracy, or suitability of expert advice.

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, LOOPINS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE PLATFORM.

9. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Platform will be resolved through binding arbitration, except where prohibited by law.

For disputes between users and experts regarding consultations, Loopins may provide mediation services but is not obligated to resolve such disputes.

10. Modifications to Terms

Loopins reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes via email or through the Platform. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

11. Termination

Loopins may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms or for any other reason at our sole discretion. You may close your account at any time by contacting support.
